5,100,000 shekels to support scientific research in Gaza: Saidam

Gaza6Nov19GAZA (PNIC):-Palestinian minister of education Sabri Saidam has announced that his ministry started to provide Gaza universities with grants, amounting to 5,100,000 shekels, for the development of scientific research.

On the sidelines of the seventh conference of the faculty of medicine at the Islamic University on Friday, Saidam signed an agreement to support the Islamic University with 1,700,000 shekels for its scientific research activities.

The minister affirmed that by the end of next week, all universities in Gaza would receive their share of the financial support for the same purpose.

In press remarks to the (PNIC), He affirmed that this financial support “falls within the framework of executing the vision and plan of the national consensus government and the ministry of education and higher education to boost the educational process at the Palestinian universities.”

Saidam also hailed the Islamic University for its outstanding role in promoting the higher education, describing it as “a pearl among other Palestinian universities.”
